About Us

The Warm Hearth was founded in 1978 by Eric Stamets as a lumber, hardware, and wood burning stove store. Ownership is now carried on by his two sons and family. The location was originally a wagon repair shop built in 1913. Evolving over the years to serve many different needs in our little town, it is now doing its best to be a fun and magical place shop for tourists and locals alike.
